* TESTO DI PRESENTAZIONE DELL'ESPOSIZIONE DI * HAVEIT NEOX * : * GLI DEI SI ESTINGUONO *
LE MIE IMPRESSIONI ....
L'Esposizione di Sculture di Haveit Neox si estende per una buona parte della sim Plusia e precisamente all'interno di
tre palazzi rammentando come le divinità e tutto ciò che rappresentano si stiano estinguendo a causa delle
scelleratezze umane.
Haveit dice:
*L'umanità ha devastato il pianeta. Restano solo tre Dei:
Gaia, la Dea Terra, sanguina internamente, la sua lava che brucia le masse terrestri, facendo ribollire laghi e fiumi.
Nettuno, Dio del Mare, soffoca nei caldi oceani di pesci morti e privati dell'ossigeno.
Horus, il Dio del Cielo, rinuncia ai cieli e tutti i suoi giorni, congelando il tempo in uno specchio.*
1) Nel Palazzo Centrale la rappresentazione di Gea o Gaia, divinità della madre terra che nonostante sanguini
internamente e renda brucianti laghi e fiumi, ancora sopravvive in tutta la sua energia e sacralità.
Una divinità riconosciuta in tutte le epoche storiche e presso tutte le civiltà nelle varie definizioni a partire dalla
Teogonia di Esiodo in cui Gea distribuisce generosamente all'uomo tutto ciò di cui necessita: frutti, piante ed animali
allo scopo di assicurarne la sopravvivenza laddove prima esistevano solo confusione, caos e desolazione. Simbolo
di fertilità e propiziatrice di abbondanza è anche associata ad Atene alla protezione dei luoghi e perfino a quella dei
bambini. Presso le popolazioni italiche sotto il nome di Tellus era anche legata al culto dei morti oltre che ai
giuramenti e alla famiglia.
Vi prego di notare la raffigurazione del mondo sovrappopolato che risulta opprimente e soffocante su Madre Terra.
(Mi ricorda tralaltro le meravigliose sculture di Pomodoro).
2) Nel Palazzo sulla Sinistra invece Haveit ha rappresentato il culto del dio Nettuno, ancora forte e temibile, ma
seriamente compromesso dalle azioni umane sconsiderate e prive del senso della cura e del futuro. Qui Nettuno
soffoca nelle acque ormai caldissime, prive di ossigeno.
La figura di Nettuno tuttavia domina su tutta la scena, in qualità di dio delle acque correnti, del mare e dei terremoti.
Detto anche *Scuotitore di Terre*, per gli Etruschi era anche dio dell'acqua dolce ed i pozzi ma la sua figura prende
decisamente maggiore vigore nella religiosità greca nella figura di Poseidone, venerato dai marinai, padre di
Tritone, mezzo uomo e mezzo pesce.
Secondo il mito risiedeva nel fondo del mare munito del suo tridente con il quale intimava il suo volere alle creature
marine ed istigava tempeste e terremoti se si riteneva offeso dagli uomini. Solitamente veniva rappresentato in piedi
sul suo carro trainato da cavalli marini. Si pensa sia nato in origine come dio-cavallo e successivamente associato al
mare: in effetti un suo simbolo specifico risiede in questo splendido animale che si dice egli creò direttamente dalle
onde e che i marinai erano soliti sacrificare annegandoli nelle acque allo scopo di ottenere mari calmi e pescosi.
3) Nel Palazzo sulla Destra Haveit mette in scena la rappresentazione dell'umanità e della religiosità, intese come
legame stretto e collaborativo e sentito al fine di preservare le risorse e tutti i frutti di cui Madre Terra ci ha
generosamente elargito. Dominano la grande luce centrale raffigurante il dio Horus, dio del cielo che congela il
tempo in uno specchio e, a seguire, le figure mitologiche dei centauri e dei tritoni e la barca solare dalle grandi
dimensioni. Horus congela il tempo fermando la barca solare di Ra per consentire al mondo di curare le proprie ferite
(così come Iside aveva fatto a suo tempo per consentirgli di vivere).
Haveit dice:
*La popolazione umana sparsa resta in attesa della morte, incredula di ciò che il pianeta è diventato. Non avevano immaginato che il riscaldamento globale avrebbe potuto uccidere anche gli Dei. Ora tutta la loro volontà non potrà avere alcun effetto. I pochi rimasti guardano intorno ai loro sepolcri caldi. Chiudono gli occhi per l'ultima volta, l'ambiente circostante talmente irriconoscibile, che nemmeno la morte potrà ricondurli a casa.
Dando uno sguardo alla realtà:
Risulta quasi troppo tardi per dare una svolta ora al riscaldamento globale, ma abbiamo ancora la possibilità di battere le probabilità, se siamo pronti a prendere decisioni. I nostri governi non faranno nulla di vero valore per l'ambiente perché hanno pensieri limitati e l'attenzione quasi esclusivamente sull'economia. Ma mi chiedo se noi, in virtù del nostro essere consumatori, potremmo avere molto più potere dei nostri leader e dei lobbisti corrotti. Dal momento che la metà delle emissioni globali di gas a effetto serra sono causati da agricoltura animale, la popolazione mondiale svoltando verso quella vegana prevalentemente biologica potrebbe notevolmente contribuire a salvare la Terra, nonostante il ritmo pericolosamente lento delle politica tradizionale. L'utilizzo dei nostri portafogli per portare agricoltura animale e agricoltura OGM in ginocchio è in nostro potere in quanto consumatori. Hey..., guadagnare poi in buona salute... non sarebbe un cattivo affare!*
Questa esposizione tratta un argomento che non basterebbero mesi per sviscerarne sia la complessità che la gravità ma penso che Haveit abbia evidenziato con sensibilità ma anche ragionevolezza e storicità il valore ed il misticismo che attraversano i fenomeni della natura riuscendo a evidenziarne l'energia, la preziosità, la forza che sempre riescono a emergere e nutrire il mondo nonostante la corruzione, l'inadeguatezza, l'egoismo dell'animo umano.
Mi auguro che questa esposizione, che pubblicizzeremo per molto tempo, sia vista da più persone possibili allo scopo di sensibilizzarle o comunque ricondurle ad una riflessione e presa di coscienza che mai dovrebbero essere abbandonate.
Ogni giorno possiamo cambiare il mondo prestando attenzione a ciò che pensiamo e facciamo, a come ci rapportiamo alla natura e agli altri.

TEXT OF PRESENTATION ABOUT THE OPENING OF * HAVEIT NEOX *: * THE GODS DWINDLE *
MY IMPRESSIONS ....
The Art Exhibition of Sculptures by Haveit Neox covers a good part of the Plusia sim and precisely inside three buildings
recalling how the gods and all that they represent are becoming extinct because of human wickedness.
Haveit says:
*Humanity has devastated the planet. Only three Gods remain: Gaia, the Earth Goddess, bleeds internally, her lava
burning landmasses, boiling lakes and rivers. Neptune, God of the Sea, suffocates in the hot oxygen deprived oceans
of dead fish. Horus, the Sky God, gives up the heavens and all his days, freezing time into a mirror.*
1) In the Central Building the representation of Gea or Gaia, goddess of mother earth that bleeds internally
and makes burning lakes and rivers, still survives in all its energy and sacredness.
A divinity recognized in all periods of history and in all cultures in the various definitions from Hesiod's Theogony in
which Gaia generously distributes to man everything he needs: fruits, plants and animals in order to ensure his survival
where before there were only confusion, chaos and desolation. Symbol of fertility and abundance at Athens Gaia is
also associated with the protection of places and even to that of children. At the Italic peoples under the name of Tellus
was also linked to the cult of the dead as well as to oaths and family.
Please note the representation of the overpopulated world that is oppressive and suffocating on Earth Goddess.
(It reminds me of the wonderful sculptures by Arnaldo Pomodoro).
2) In the Palace on the Left instead Haveit represented the cult of the god Neptune, yet strong and frightening, but
seriously compromised by human actions reckless and devoid of a sense of care and the future. Here Neptune
suffocate in the waters now very hot, deprived of oxygen.
The figure of Neptune, however, dominates the entire scene, as the god of running waters, the sea and earthquakes.
Also known as *Shaker of lands*, for the Etruscans was also the god of soft waters and wells but his figure takes much
greater force in the greek religiosity in the shape of Poseidon, venerated by sailors, father of Triton, half-man and half-
fish .
According to the myth the god resided in the bottom of the sea fitted with the trident with which intimated his desire to
marine creatures and inciting storms and earthquakes if he considered himself insulted by men.
Was usually represented standing on his chariot pulled by sea horses. It is believed he was born originally as horse-
god, and subsequently associated with the sea: actually his specific symbol resides in these beautiful animals that
he created directly by waves and that the sailors were accustomed to sacrifice soaking them in water in order to
obtain the calm sea full of fish.
3) In the Palace on the Right Haveit put up the representation of humanity and religion, understood as a close and
collaborative link in order to preserve the resources.
Dominate the large central light representing the god Horus, god of the sky that freezes time in a mirror and,
subsequently, the mythological figures of centaurs and mermen and the solar boat by the large size. Horus freezes
time stopping the solar boat of Ra to allow the world to heal its wounds (as well as Isis had done to enable him to
live).
Haveit says:
*The sparse human population lies in wait for death, in disbelief of what the planet has become. They had not imagined that global warming might kill even the Gods. Now, all their resolve can have no effect. The remaining few look around their hot graves. They close their eyes for the last time, their surroundings so unrecognizable, that even death cannot bring them home.
Taking a look at reality:
It’s almost too late now to change global warming, yet we still have a chance to beat the odds, if we are quick on our feet. Our governments will not do anything of true value for the environment because they have limited imaginations, and center almost exclusively on economics. But I wonder if we, by virtue of being the consumers, might have far more power than our leaders and the corrupt lobbyists. Since half of the global greenhouse gas emissions are caused by animal agriculture, the world population turning predominantly organic vegan could greatly help save the Earth despite the dangerously slow pace of traditional politics. Using our wallets to bring animal agriculture and GMO agriculture to their knees is within our power as consumers. And hey, gaining good health is no bad deal either!*
This art exhibition deals with a topic that would not be enough months for canvassing both the complexity and severity but I think Haveit has shown,
with sensitivity and reasonableness, the historical value and mysticism running through the phenomena of nature, being able to highlight the energy,
the preciousness, the force that always manage to emerge and feed the world in spite of the corruption,, selfishness of the human soul.
I hope that this exhibition, which we will publicize for a long time, to be seen by many people as possible in order to alert them or at least reduce them
a reflection and awareness that should never be abandoned.
Every day we can change the world doing care to what we think and do, how we relate to nature and to others.
